To keep the blood flow smoothly, it is recommended to have sex at least 2-3 times a week. Recent studies of New England Research Institute found that men who do these recommendations have 65 percent less chance of developing cardiovascular disease, than those who had sex less than once a month.
In a 2006 study at the University of Paisley, Scotland, the people who have sex at least once during the two weeks had lower blood pressure than those who do not engage in sexual activity, and lower stress levels. Researchers believe, during sex hormone the body will release oxytocin - which reduces the risk of stress. Sex can also be a great exercise to burn 60 calories per half hour in bed.
